Getting to Know You - The King Family

Have you happened to bump into the King family on our campus? Arch, Jordan and Lundy are so thankful the Holy Spirit led them to the Academy. When Lundy was younger, she attended a preschool which required the family to drive by Sola every day. They felt such a consistent press to stop by and see what the school was all about and the rest is history. Arch grew up in Lilburn, GA and though Jordan is originally from Texas, she grew up in a military family and has lived practically everywhere.

Arch and Jordan met at First Presbyterian Church while attending Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, GA. They have now been together for 14 years and married for 11. Their little girl Lundy is 8 years old and as a student in Ms. Van Orman’s class, she works very hard to challenge herself to grow as a learner.   Arch had always wanted to be a “homesteader,” however he instead became a mergers and acquisitions advisor for Fortune 100 companies. Jordan used to work in education, but has been blessed to be able to stay home with Lundy. The King’s are a laid back family. They love God and fellowship, exploring new places, taking impromptu trips, being outside, and just living life. Arch, Jordan, and Lundy enjoy dinner every night as a family, as they always try to make the most of their time together.

As a family, one of their favorite meals is having tacos at Beto’s Tacos  in Suwannee. If you see the King’s on campus, say hello! They would love to meet you!
