Core Values
Grace
Ephesians 2:8-9
Everyone needs grace. We are sinners in need of God’s grace. Sometimes we fail or fall short in our endeavors or our relationships, and need grace from our friends and family. That also means that we need to be ready to give grace. First and foremost, we share the love of Jesus with those around us, proclaiming his grace to the world. We continue as agents of that grace, extending forgiveness to those around us. Knowing that we are both recipients of grace and agents of grace is life-changing.
Integrity
Proverbs 4:25-27
Acting with integrity means doing what is right whether it is easy or difficult. Sometimes the difficulty comes from our own desire to take the easy way out. Sometimes the difficult thing is standing up to others. God has called us to be his children, living with integrity is part of our joyful response to this calling.
Family
1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Students learn best when they feel safe, secure, and at home. We need people to stand up for us and stand with us in the face of all the challenges life throws at us. We need community. We need family. On our campus, we put family into action by engaging in cross-grade activities and team building. We strive to build a culture where everyone knows that they belong.
Curiosity
Psalm 19:1-5
The smartest people in the world are the ones who ask the most questions. There is so much that we can learn about the marvels of God’s creation, the wonders of human ingenuity, and the unknown opportunities for exploration. We are driven by curiosity to gain a richer understanding of God’s wisdom, love, and power.
Grit
1 Corinthians 10:31
Giving up is easy. Anyone can quit. Displaying grit means pressing on with passion and perseverance. Grit means striving toward completion, excellence, and achievement even when it gets difficult. Developing passion and perseverance for the tasks in front of us bears fruit in careers, marriages, families, and beyond.
