Stay-and-Play

With the return of better weather comes the return of Stay-and-Play. Parents are encouraged to stay at school at pick-up time TODAY. Enjoy a little fellowship with each other while your children enjoy an after-school recess.

Here are a few things to remember:

  • Get to school around 3:40 pm. (Coming a few minutes later than 3:30 will help manage traffic flow.)

  • Pick up your child in the normal line.

  • Have your child put their book bag and other belongings in your car.

  • Park in an available parking spot.

  • Walk over to the playground and have some fun!

PTA Meeting - Tuesday

Sola Fide’s PTA will hold a meeting this coming Tuesday, March 15th at 7:00pm. We’ll talk about some spring events that will provide opportunities for fun, fellowship, and fundraising. If you can’t attend in person, use the Zoom link to join us! https://us06web.zoom.us/j/5661863513?pwd=ZnJOMWtBMEtIeFI1VE1nV2pDZGw0QT09

Early Release - March 18th

Our teachers need to do some professional development and curriculum study! This helps our school get stronger. To accommodate this, school will dismiss at 1:00 pm on March 18th. There will be no After School Care on that Friday.

Pay your taxes a year early and SFA gets the money

We’ve thought about a bunch of different ways to explain the GASSO program. Here’s a different way to think about it: If you pay a portion of your Georgia income taxes a year in advance and pay them through GASSO, then Sola Fide gets to use that money instead of the State of Georgia. It sounds too good to be true, but it is legal and it really works! Call or talk to Mr. Schmiege for more details.

Important Dates

  • March 11 - Stay and Play after school

  • March 18 - Early Release - 1pm - Teacher Development
