Welcome to the Newsletter

We’re very excited to get Sola Fide’s 31st year of school underway. Much of our communication will be via text message, but every now and again, we’ll need to share more detail. We’ll do that through web links and email newsletters. You can expect a newsletter once or twice each month during the school year. Email can be frustrating. We know. Please take the time to read the newsletter and stay up to date on school events. We will also link the newsletter in the footer navigation section of school.solafide.com. 

Stay-and-Play

THIS FRIDAY, August 15th, we will be having our first Stay-and-Play of the year. Stay-and-Play is a time for kids to hang out with their friends on the playground while their parents get to know each other on the sidelines. This is a family event. If a parent or guardian isn’t able to attend, then kids who stay will be checked into after care before attending Stay-and-Play. During Stay-and-Play, Mrs. Schmiege will be prepping the school garden for fall planting by taking out old plants, and refilling the garden beds with compost. Feel free to come over and help or just take a look at what is going on in the garden!

Bruster’s Fundraiser

NEXT FRIDAY, August 22nd, Bruster’s Real Ice Cream in Grayson will donate a portion of their sales back to Sola Fide. Join us between 3pm and 5pm for some fun, some treats, and a little bonus fundraising!

Early Dismissal - Teacher Development Day

TWO WEEKS FROM FRIDAY on August 29th, school dismisses at 12:30pm. The faculty will be doing some advanced planning and professional development. There will be no after school care on August 29th.
