WHAT is it?
Stay and play is a chance for parents to get to know other school families a little better. On a few Fridays each year, we encourage parents to spend about an hour at school hanging out on the playground. Kids play, parents chat, and we build community
How does it work?
Come to school at 3:42 pm.
Park your car.
We will send your child to your car to drop off their backpack.
Walk with your child to the playground.
Parents are the chief supervisors of their own children. If a parent is in charge of a child, great. If a parent is not present to supervise, that child will be billed $15 for after school care.
Stay for about an hour and get to know your school family a little bit better.
FAQ
Is there after school care on Stay-and-Play days?
Yes, we will staff after school care for any students who do not have parents present by 3:50. After Care kids will store their belongings and then join in the fun.
Can I stay and play on other days?
Of course! We love it when people feel at home on our campus. We just need to make sure that the staff member in charge of after care has a clear distinction between who is their responsibility and who has parents supervising for them.
What if my kid wants to stay, but I can’t?
You could opt for after care on that day ($15) or you could wait for the next Stay-and-Play.
