Pizza Friday

International Fair
Our annual International Fair is coming up soon. It’s being held on Saturday, February 10th from 3pm to 5pm. It’s a chance to share the foods, the traditions, and the customs that make your family who you are. We’ve enjoyed sharing everything from jollof rice to empanadas to freshly roasted coffee. In the five-year history of this event, we’ve seen representation from six different continents and at least 27 different countries. Please, whether you’d like to share something with the other families or you’d just like to learn and eat, we’d love to have you.
Grandparents’ Day
Sola Fide Academy would like to Host Grandparent's Day on Friday, March 15th. We have early dismissal that day and we would also like to plan a lunch for those Grandparents in attendance. Our only concern is if we have adequate seating in the Great Hall for such an event. As we are in the planning stages, we would appreciate your input and feedback on the interest in this special day. The tentative schedule is as follows:
8:00-8:40am - Check-in & Coffee / snack social time (Great Hall)
8:45-9:15am - Chapel with students
9:20-11:20am - Grandparents join students in classroom activities
11:30am-12:30pm - Grandparent's Luncheon (Great Hall)
12:30pm - Students dismissed.
Please email Dianna at office@solafide.com with the number of Grandparents that may be able to attend.
Also share a comment on whether you would be willing to contribute toward the cost of the luncheon. Dianna is also open to hearing other suggestions you may have.
Savannah Bananas Raffle
A generous donor has given Sola Fide a pair of tickets (right behind home plate, meal and parking included) to the Savannah Bananas Game at CoolRay Field in March. The donor has suggested that we raffle off the tickets as a fundraiser for the school. More details on the raffle tickets and the deadline will be sent in a separate email.
Re-Enrollment for 2024-2025
Re-enrollment season is upon us! In the coming days you will receive an email from TADS and some paperwork from Sola Fide. The paperwork is just a reminder and some details to remember for the coming year. Your responsibility as a parent is to complete the TADS form by Monday, February 12th.
We already have lots of parents asking about openings, so it is important that you complete your TADS form soon. If you have questions, PLEASE reach out to Mr. Schmiege for more information.
Parents and grandparents of eighth graders, you are welcome to schedule a personal meeting to discuss ninth grade plans.
