S’more Fun

On Friday, October 27th, we’ll host “S’more Fun.” The goal is to keep things low-key, but high fun. There will be games, fire pits, s’mores, other snacks, and a movie. If the forecast holds, we’re going to have the movie outside, so plan to bring warm clothing and blankets. 

Label Jackets for Cooler Weather 

Every year it happens. The weather cools. Students wear jackets out to recess. The students run. The students warm up. The students discard their jackets. This leads to a significant pile of lost-and-found jackets at school. Please take a moment to figure out a way to label your child’s jacket(s) so that we can return jackets to their owners.

Picture Day - Order information

Picture Day was the Wednesday before fall break. Very soon, you should receive an email from Mr. Spears with online ordering instructions. We were only able to add one email address to the ordering applet, so if you don’t get an email in the near future, please reach out to Mr. Schmiege to see which email address was/will be used for that notification. 

Veterans Day Celebration

This year, Sola Fide will be celebrating Veterans Day one day early. On Friday, November 10th, we will gather for a flag raising ceremony, some music, and some words of thanks for what God has done through our nation’s veterans. We’ll follow the celebration with a pizza lunch. Over the years, we have compiled a list of veterans who are friends and family of Sola Fide. If you want to add a veteran to that list (or double check that we still have a veteran’s name), please use the form at this link: https://school.solafide.com/veterans.

Please add both of these events to your calendars. 

  • Sparkles Skate Night is AFTER Thanksgiving this year. It is TUESDAY, December 5th.

  • The Academy Christmas Program is on THURSDAY, December 14th at 6:30pm.
