Parent Teacher Consultations

We have an early release day this Friday, October 6th. We’ll take some time for parent-teacher consultations on that afternoon. If you haven’t yet scheduled yours, please visit school.solafide.com/ptc to sign up for a time. 

Pizza Lunch

Friday will also mark a bit of a lunch experiment. One of our parents has offered to pick up pizza that parents can pre-order in this Google Form. We’re trying to keep things really simple. Based on your child’s age, she or he will get either two or three slices of pizza. Your TADS account will be billed either $3 or $4 accordingly. If you want your child to be able to purchase pizza on Friday, you MUST fill out the form by 4:00 PM on Wednesday. 

Sing in Church & Fall Festival

On Sunday, October 8th, all the Academy students are invited and encouraged to sing “His Mercy Is More” in front of church during the 10:30 worship service. The kids did a little run-through last Friday in chapel, and they sound AMAZING!! 

Sola Fide is hosting NACHO Ordinary Fall Festival after the conclusion of that worship service. Get more information on the Fall Fesitval here.

Picture Day

This year’s picture day is Wednesday, October 11th. Mr. Spears will take photos on the 11th. A few weeks later, you’ll be given a link to make an online order if you want to purchase prints. 

Fall Break

Sola Fide’s fall break is October 16th through 20th. There are no classes or child care on campus during that week. Your teachers will be engaging in professional development. 

S’more Fun

The campout was so much fun, that we’re hoping to reprise the EVENING portion of the event at the end of October. On Friday, October 27th, we’ll host “S’more Fun.” There will be games, fire pits, s’mores, and a movie.  Whether the movie is indoors or outdoors will depend on the weather.

Just to avoid any confusion…

Sola Fide is not hosting a Pumpkin Patch or a Trunk or Treat this fall. We’re interested in your feedback and fresh perspectives on how we build community during the fall season.
