Grades 5-9 - Art Club Continues
The Google form to sign up for Art Club has reopened. Please sign up by the evening of December 2nd, when the form will close again. Students currently attending Art Club do NOT need to sign up again. https://forms.gle/JPvnw5goHxzcWhvD6
We have had a fun time so far! Please ask your student what they have been working on! I appreciate students who consider during the week/weekend what they would like to work on and come with ideas already to begin work. Please remind your student that I expect everyone sitting in the same area to help each other clean up; it’s a team effort.
For the three Tuesdays before Christmas break, the two options will be: art relating to the Christmas program OR crafting a nativity set out of unconventional materials. Talk to your student and start brainstorming! Some students have been enjoying constructing with wooden bits - if you have old buttons, small scrap wood, or other random doodads that you don’t want, I would probably take them off your hands.
Archery Club Begins
Archery Club is open to students in 3rd grade through 9th grade. Students can attend practices on one or two of Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays in December and January. The cost is $40 per student. Please sign up at this link: https://forms.gle/EtHK4ss41TtSX7udA. If cost is the sole reason you are uncertain about participation, please contact Mr. Schmiege.
Advent Tea
Advent Tea is Sunday, December 8th from 1:00-3:00 PM in the Great Hall. Please bring family and friends who want to share fellowship and prayer. Ladies of any age (including kids) are welcome! If you are coming on your own, we will seat you at a table with other sisters in Christ. Please RSVP and find more information at solafide.com/adventtea.

History is a good teacher. We have learned that traffic will be pretty rough that evening, so please make time for your on-time arrival. All students should arrive by 6:15pm. Piano and instrumental musicians should arrive by 6:05.
