Gospel every day. Jesus every moment.

Sola Fide shares the Gospel with students and families on a daily basis. We wouldn't have it any other way. To truly grow in wisdom and understanding of the world around them, your child needs a firm Biblical foundation. Each day of the week, our students participate in classes that teach Bible lessons, Christian doctrine, and active faith in a faithless world.

We ask our students to memorize Bible passages and Christian songs so that they are always prepared for what life sends their way. We encourage regular reading of Scripture and make sure that students know that daily use of the Bible is not just normal, but necessary.

We are proud of how we teach the Bible daily. It is fundamental. But we also make Biblical living a part of our school day. We encourage our students to do their best in all things out of thanks to God. When students misbehave or experience failure, our teachers use words of forgiveness and comfort. We make Christ a part of everything we do so that your child takes that same mentality out into the world.

Weekly Chapel

Meeting together around the Cross of Christ is central to why our school exists. Every week, Sola Fide holds a chapel service for all of our students. Principal Schmiege, Mr. Pingel, and Pastor Kober share the Law and Gospel with our students every Friday morning.

This year our weekly worship has centered on the key messages of Scripture as shared in some of our favorite hymns. We love it when parents join us for this weekly opportunity. It reinforces the truth that regular worship is an essential part of each Christian's life.

Which way is the wind blowing?

A pandemic. Anger after an election. Shifts in what is called “good” and what is called “evil”. Sometimes it feels like the cultural winds are blowing in a new direction every single day. Sometimes it feels like they are blowing against Christians harder than they have in the past.

Perhaps things are worse than ever. Perhaps, as Solomon wrote, “There is nothing new under the sun.”

At Sola Fide, we realize that there is a lot of good that can come from the new and the cutting-edge. We work to adopt the best research-based practices that the world of education has to offer. But we also realize that there are some timeless truths to learning, to being a kid, and to our eternal redemption. That means we are a school that works every day to prepare kids for the here and the now and the tomorrow, but we are rooted in an understanding of God’s perfect creation, and his perfect plan to redeem his creation after it fell into sin.

So, while we seek to grow, advance, and prepare for a world that is moving faster and faster; for a world that presses against Christians in new and different ways. That preparation will always come first from the eternal and timeless truths of God’s Word. And it will be informed by traditions and ideals that have stood the test of time for centuries.

We don’t shift with the wind.

We are forward thinking.

We honor the lessons of history.

We find our truth in God alone.
