Welcome to the school newsletter! This year’s newsletter will come out once every two to four weeks and include calendar updates, sign-ups, and recaps. The newsletter will be emailed to all parents and other relatives who have asked to be added to the distribution list. The newsletter will also be posted as a blog at school.solafide.com/newsletter.
Bruster’s Fundraiser
Sola Fide has a fundraiser this Friday afternoon at Bruster’s in Grayson. From 4pm to 7pm this Friday, Brusters’ in Grayson will donate 20% of sales back to Sola Fide Academy. This fundraiser is another great way to connect with people over a cool treat. Join us right after school this Friday.
Bruster’s is located at 1993 Rosebud Road in Grayson.
New Inquirers Class
What does Sola Fide teach about God? What is a Lutheran? Come be part of this small group Bible study, as we explore basic Christian teachings and gain a more thorough understanding of the Bible and the Lutheran Faith. The study starts this Thursday at 7pm.
Teacher Development Day
Friday, August 25th is a teacher development day. All students will be dismissed at 12:30 so that your teachers can work on curriculum development, professional development, and school accreditation topics. There is no after school care on August 25th.
Save the Date
Our Campus Campout is scheduled for the evening of September 22nd. We’ll have events starting around 7pm, including s’mores, games, and a movie. More details to come!
