Report Cards on TADS Educate
Second Quarter report cards for our First through Eighth Grade students have been published at educate.tads.com. (This is the same company that processes tuition, but a different website and different log-in credentials). If you’ve never signed in before, now is the time to make sure you know how to access our online student information system.
Recent Break-In at School
Over the Christmas break, someone broke a window in Mrs. Schroeder’s classroom, entered the building, and took a number of electronic devices. It was a night-time incident and the Gwinnett County Police investigated it. If your child comes home talking about plywood in one of the windows, that’s why. We hope that this is an isolated incident. We have engaged in some campus security discussions and have some planned actions. We ask that you pray for peace of mind for your teachers.
This is how we want to engage with frustration and with evil. We have faith that God is good and that His mercy endures. We pray that IN ALL THINGS, His will is accomplished. We pray for strength to forgive those who are in need of forgiveness. We use the wisdom that he has granted to make good decisions about the future.
Archery Club Sign-up
Archery club will take place on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays in January and early February. Students in grades 3-8 are eligible to participate. To cover the cost of bows, arrows, and targets, the club fee is $15 per archer.
In order to participate in the first week of archery, students must be signed up by Thursday, January 5th. You can sign up later, but that will mean a lower scheduling priority for your practice time.
Please sign up your child at school.solafide.com/archery.
Spirit Wear Available
We’ve recently restocked our spirit wear. We’ve got just about every size of fleece, quarter zip, and polo shirt. If you’re looking for a few new uniform pieces to stay warm during the cold months, please talk to Mrs. Rott or Mr. Schmiege.
Enrollment Opening Soon
We’ll be re-enrolling students in the coming weeks. You can expect some paperwork to come home in mid-January. We are anticipating rather full classrooms again for the coming year, so it is crucial that you confirm your enrollment early.
If you have a friend or family member who is hoping to enroll for next year, please refer that person to Mr. Schmiege ASAP.
